Standard Text Formatting

Majority of the buttons in the text editor toolbar resemble those found in most word processing programs.  In our text editor you have the ability to:

  • Change the font size, style, color, highlighting, and alignment
  • Add numbering and bullets
  • Cut, copy, paste, undo, and redo
  • Spellcheck

To paste from Microsoft Word, be sure to paste via the Paste from Word tool. To remove formatting from copied text, paste via the Paste as plain text tool.

There are also four quickkeys:
  • Command/Control + b makes text bold
  • Command/Control + i makes text italicized
  • Command/Control + z undoes an action
  • Command/Control + y will redo an action that was undone
